Dr. Mark Kirschner has over 27 years of experience working within the police and public safety sector, providing the gamut of services including pre-employment psychological evaluations, fitness-for-duty evaluations, Employee Assistance Programs, organizational consultation and development, critical incident debriefing, peer-support team development and consultation, conflict mediation and POST certified training.

Dr. Kirschner is the only psychologist in CT who is Board Certified in Police and Public Safety Psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology and is only one of 90 in the country to have earned this distinction in this particular specialty. Dr. Kirschner is a past-chair of the Police Psychological Services Section of the International Association of Chiefs of Police.
